The exact name of this international exposition is “Esposizione Internazionale delle Arti Decorative e Industrial Moderne e dell Architettura Moderna”.

It exhibits contemporary decorative and industrial arts and architecture. It takes place at irregular intervals at the Palazzo dell Arte in the Parco.

It was built in 1933 by the architect Giovanni Muzio Since the 8th Exposition which took place in 1947 and was called the Triennial of Liberation, the following themes, among others, have been used: A Home for Everyone; Construction and Interior Decoration for the Average Family: the History of Contemporary Minor Architecture; Unity of Arts; Art and Industry; Home and School; A Large Number; Life Patterns Based on Better Use of Living Space and New Structures to Enrich Life: Rethinking the Arts.
